HIGH ROLLOR
A downloadable game for Windows
HIGH ROLLOR is a simple strategy game about building a chaotic pachinko machine. You place obstacles over multiple rounds and watch the balls bounce, hoping for enough points to beat that final score target.
GMTK Gam Jam 2025 - Loop
How does your game fit the theme?
- Successive rounds trying to improve your performance
- Looping music tracks and animations
- Also Pachinko boards are giant loops
Instructions
High Rollor is played over 8 rounds consisting of 2 phases - build and active. In the build phase, you drag and drop objects from the left-hand side onto the gridded play field. You can hit `space` to shoot a test ball and see how it bounces around. Once you're happy, or when the time runs out, the active phase begins. Many balls will shoot from the top of the field, and points will start racking up. If you pass the point threshold for the round, you get to continue onward in a loop. Your previous objects will be stuck - see how you can build around them to get even more points!
Controls
- Mouse - click and drag obstacles around the field
- Space - shoot a test ball in the build phase
- M - Toggle music
- N - Toggle sfx
- Escape - Pause the game and exit the game from the main menu
Points
Each object is worth 10 points to start, but rapidly hitting any object will begin increasing its color level from cyan all the way to yellow. At yellow, the point values are:
Pins - 70pts
Walls - 160pts
Solenoids - 310pts
Hit a yellow solenoid one more time to trigger a MULTIBALL, launching 5 new balls from the hopper!
